Planning flowers for an event can be a little confusing, so we’ve answered some of the questions we’re asked most often below.
When should I place my flower order?
We recommend placing your order as soon as your required delivery date falls within our 2-week ordering window. Ordering earlier within this window gives you the best opportunity to secure the flowers, colours and varieties you’re looking for.
How far in advance can I order flowers?
Our main wholesale flower range can be ordered up to 2 weeks before your required delivery date. If your event is further away, you can start planning your flower list now and then place the order once your delivery date comes within the 2-week window.
When should I have my flowers delivered before my event?
For most events, we recommend having your flowers delivered around 2–3 days before the event. This gives them time to properly hydrate, be conditioned and begin opening before you arrange them.
Different flowers open at different speeds, so if you’re unsure, tell us your event date and what you’re ordering and we can advise.
Can you tell me how many flowers I should order?
We can certainly help you work out a rough quantity, but there isn’t one set number because every arrangement is different.
When contacting us, let us know what you’re making — for example, bouquets, buttonholes, centrepieces, bud vases or larger arrangements — along with how many you need and roughly how full you would like them. The more detail you give us, the more useful our guidance can be.
Can I order flowers at short notice?
Yes, depending on availability. Some products are available for next-day delivery or same-day collection. For larger orders or if you need particular varieties or colours, we recommend ordering earlier wherever possible.
